💌may '23, #4, looking for the dopamine in everything
Dear Reader, I hope this email finds you window shopping.
normally these newsletters grace your inboxes on saturdays, but i missed one this month and i just can’t help myself from keeping my numbers right + i really like connecting with you over these silly little emails + a sky picture i want to share with you!
i took this the day i went to go vote in a city election, and i’m pleased to share the person i wanted to win, won 🥰
pride’s tomorrow baybee!!! i’m SO ready for the party month to begin, and to celebrate some of my very best friends’ birthdays! more on that in a sec…
1️⃣ a lil poem, on poverty
you may or may not have heard me screaming at the top of my lungs on the mountaintops about how excited i am to not have stacks of debt looming over me—i’m not in debt! i haven’t not been in debt since i got my first credit card! because being neurodivergent & disabled is so expensive 😭😭
i’m looking back at the things that i’ve written about class/finances/money and i have so many poems in this theme i’m thinking of doing a workshop on grind culture/capitalism ? it’d be kind of like the animal crossing workshop where i invite folks to use the workshop as a sounding board/platform to vent and connect with others about the feeling of constant class hypervigilance
